September 28 was a warm Florida day, as Althea and David said their “I Do’s” to one another.  An Elegant Affair was honored to share in this special time with them, as they pledged their love for each other.  Family and friends joined them to witness the exchange of vows and rings at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tampa (the groom’s church).

It was a very warm, sunny and beautiful day to celebrate Sheri and John’s wedding on August 17 (we didn’t let the chance of the typical afternoon shower dampen our spirits in the least).  Higgins Hall was the perfect venue for this ceremony and reception, as almost 500 guests gathered from around the world to witness the union of two very special people.

In the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, sometimes we forget to focus on this fact….after the wedding, there is a MARRIAGE!  Once you return from your honeymoon, your normal life will resume (work, school, etc.) – with the addition of your spouse and his or her schedule, personality and idiosyncrasies to factor in!   So how does a person adjust to this major life change, and how does a couple handle issues that may arise?  (and trust me, they will!)
